As Regular Season Champs in the Horizon League this year, Valpo's
winning performance record under Head Coach Bryce Drew  has been incredible to witness.

 Our 1st tickets to a VU basketball game came as a gift from a previous client :)
 
 
We had lived in Valpo for years and passed the University daily on the way to or from our office or appointments to list or sell real estate, yet never attended a game.
We were hooked from day 1 and became season ticket holders!

It has been a whirlwind past 5 days in our home town of
Valparaiso, Indiana!
As Horizon League Regular Season Champs -
Valparaiso University Men's Basketball Team had the honor of hosting the semi-final championship games at their home court over this past weekend.
Valpo won in their semi-final game with an  awesome March Madness
Buzzer Beater shot by senior Ryan Broekoff that ranked #2 of the top 10 plays on ESPN Sports Center Friday night 3/8/12.
So last night, VALPO played in the final round AND WON, clinching the 
2013 Horizon League Champs!

 There's nothing like Basketball Season in Northwest Indiana!
Every year we look forward to cheering on our home town team - Valparaiso University Crusaders.
The Horizon League has some fiercely competitive teams for NCAA in the Midwest!
The 1st year as head coach-> Bryce Drew, son of Homer Drew has certainly earned consideration for horizon league 'coach of the year' award  (ok, so we may be little a biased:)
Valpo has just 4 games left in regular season

govalpo: Valparaiso Crusaders Beat Butler Bulldogs AT Hinkle Fieldhouse 1st Horizon League Game #ValpoGameDay - 12/04/11 07:33 AM

It hasn't happened in years. Valparaiso University Crusaders won in OT yesterday playing the Butler Bulldogs on
their home court at the historic Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN -> BOX SCORE
This game was a nail biter for sure!
Check out the Highlights Video !
Thanks to modern technology, we watched part of the game in Valpo with an Ap for our Ipad (techinical difficulties with Horizon League Feed for awhile - ironically when Valpo took the lead LOL).
We enjoy cheering on our hometown team and this season is sure off to an exciting start!

The best way to keep peace in a House Divided (IU/Purdue) is to cheer the local hometown team :) #GoValpo
and it's that time of year again.....
Valparaiso University Crusaders Men's Basketball Team have their season opening home game this Saturday, October 29th 2011 tip off 7:05 pm at the ARC.
This year there's lots of new at VU this year including the scoreboard, players and new head coach Bryce Drew!
We look forward to the Horizon League games and as in the past will bring you some highlights via our Blog.
