The advent of the Internet has changed the way people connect. We were laughed at in 2000 by some seasoned peers for getting a website. Websites are almost like indoor plumbing - everybody has it. Nowadays, some giggle when we mention BLOGGING. But, alas, it does produce inquiries, if, like other Marketing avenues, you do it consistently and follow up ! I've always felt while sorting through the many BLOGS here on AR, that this is a Big THINK TANK, a plethora of diverse information. Like abstract art, some posts make you Stop and Think, others may even influence you further than thought,- they may impact your future actions. On 8/27/09 we attended our local Board of REALTORS ( GNIAR )annual meeting at the Avalon Manor Banquet Hall located @ US 30 in Merrillville, IN. The statistics reported that day about the drop-out rate of REALTOR members in the last year (High of 2600 agents at one point in NW Indiana to current 2100+ and projected decrease to 1800 agents by 2010 )... reminded me of this BLOG I wrote last year ..... and how servicing the friends, family & clients of those who were once active collegues in our profession is very important!
