Valparaiso University, Located in Porter County, Northwest Indiana is an award winning school in the Midwest that enjoys local residents support of their Athletic Programs! Recently we attended a Valpariso University Football Home Game on a windy & cool Saturday afternoon that was enjoyable (even though VU lost in the last quarter :( Jeff, who is an avid fan of sports...enjoys getting up close to the play on the field ...sound effects of impacts are alittle too much for me though ... We were both pleasantly surprised and plan to return for the full tour soon! As one of the Largest Dairy Farms in the U.S. - the fresh milk makes a difference even Star-bucks Latte's, Cheese Quesedillas and Home Made Ice Cream are soooo different with the Dairy Products made Fresh Daily on site!

I went to High School in Hammond, IN even though I lived on Chicago's South Side, Bishop Noll Institute had a great reputation for being a College Prep School and was only 20 minutes by Car from Home ! Since Hammond is so Close to The Illinois State Line (Border City) many people choose to live there even if they work in Chicago-land. Commute is feasible by Major Toll roads/Expressways or South Shore Train !
