foreclosure: Obama may force Homeowners and Lenders to HAMP - 03/02/10 11:18 PM
The Obama administration may expand efforts to ease the housing crisis by banning all foreclosures on home loans unless they have been screened and rejected by the government’s Home Affordable Modification Program. The proposal, reviewed by lenders last week on a White House conference call, “prohibits referral to foreclosure until borrower is evaluated and found ineligible for HAMP or reasonable contact efforts have failed,” according to a Treasury Department document outlining the plan. “It is one of the many ideas under consideration in the administration’s ongoing housing stabilization efforts,” Treasury spokeswoman Meg Reilly said in an e-mail. “This proposal has not … (0 comments)

I have just spent 3 days in a real estate workshop learing how lease options can be a welcome option to good people who just can't get a mortgage right now due to excessive Lender guidlines.
If you have to rent, why not get something back? For a modest option fee a Buyer/Tenant can control the property while they make the necessary corrections to their credit or take the time necessary to satisfy the Lender enough to approve the mortgage. foreclosure: The Market is changing! - 01/14/07 04:46 AM
As we look forward to 2007, I am encouraged by a strong 4th quarter finish of 2006 and all signs point to a continued increase in market activity into the new year.
I will be happy to provide market comparisons on a monthly basis to the previous year for anyone requestion it. The 200k+ market has been almost non-existant until recently. We have seen a significant increase in showings and inquiries in the $250k-$350k price range. Let's hope that the market continues its turnaround!
If you have been thinking of selling your home, now is a good time to get recommendations for improvements, … (1 comments)
