We’d like to announce a special event that’s coming up this fall. Running from September 13, 2019, until November 08, 2019 will be a wonderful event that brings together art and conservation on Maui. In collaboration with East Maui Watershed Partnership (EMWP), the Hui Noeau Visual Arts Center is hosting a juried art exhibition that celebrates the native species of Maui County. Mālama Wao Akua (Caring for the Realm of the Gods), invites local artists from the islands of Maui, Lanai, Molokai, and Kahoolawe, to use their work to raise awareness about the importance of protecting native species.
