Dear Representatives in Washington, Get it together! I'm working with a few folks scheduled to close on FHA loans and I'm sure a work stoppage by the government will not make matters any better. Also have government employees who are transferring to my area and a work furlough is not something they are looking forward to. The real estate market is local! Do what you have to do so these FHA loans will close on time over the next few weeks. Please don't screw up my local market. We are sitting in the airport waiting for our plane. This is probably the first time I have had to sit and relax. We had an excellent time at NAR 2008. Here are my top 10 reasons... 10 Orlando is way warmer than Ridgewood NJ and it rained there the whole time we were gone. 9 Rented a convertible and were like a couple without children (kids were at grandmas house). 8 People from our computer came to life. As of today October 1, 2007 There are currently 114 active listings in Franklin Lakes. There are 18 properties under contract. From 7/1/2007 to 10/1/2007 there were 32 properties sold. (There were only 10 of 32 sold under $1,000,000) Simply put we are looking at approximately 10.5 months worth of inventory.
A year ago today There were 155 active listings in Franklin Lakes. There were 39 properties under contract. From 7/1/2006 to 10/1/2006 there were 38 properties sold. Approximately 12 months worth of inventory.
I believe we are in a better position than a year ago, homes are taking less time to sell 10.5 months … (2 comments)
