There are well founded reasons for extending the window of time for a inspection.....the inspector of choice was not available until late in the time period...experts needed to be called....as the end nears for that time...the Sellers are anxiously waiting for what the "wish list" has on it. The shorter the time frame...the faster the Seller has to dance to get it done...OR the closing is extended and the Seller pays more taxes, does more maintenance....pays more utilities than planned due to the Buyers inability to act in a timely manner.
