In southeastern Wisconsin, and many other parts of the country, Radon gas is prevalent and if a property does not have a mitigation system in place, a radon test is very often included in the offer to purchase. Most properties in southeastern Wisconsin have basements...often with elaborate finishes from media and game rooms to wet bars, kitchens, offices, bedrooms, full baths, saunas...every square inch of the house that can be used is...for things other than just storage or the laundry room.
