It shouldn't be just today....that we remember...Just today that we are thankful...just today that we express to the people we know who have served our country .....who have lost loved ones...sons, daughters, parents, neighbors, friends....not just today...but every day....have an attitude of gratitude.

I am going to pick up the phone as soon as it becomes a reasonable time...and just say thank you... to the Children of the Vets I know.....to their wives,....and to them. For the nightmares that still haunt some ...for the wounds that have left them disabled.... For all they did...their families sacrificed...for the memories at home they missed and can never recover,..that holiday...that baby,...that birthday...anniversary..,
I am making a phone call....You know someone who served...a family that played the supportive roll.. Pick up the phone....make just 3 calls..just say Thank you

Wednesday, November 11th is Veterans Day. If you are a Veteran or if you would like to honor our Veterans you are invited to two ceremonies here in New Berlin. One in the morning and one in the evening. The first Veterans Day ceremony will be hosted by School Superintendent Dr. Paul Kreutzer at the New Berlin West High School Field House 18695 W.
