Resurrected from an old Pennsylvania railway that traveled through Knox County Ohio and converted in 1991 into one of the nicest rails to trails bike paths in all of Ohio. The Kokosing Gap Trail is now one of Knox County Ohio's most beautiful treasures for the community and it attracts visitors from all over the country each year. Knox County Ohio residents are so fortunate to have the Kokosing Gap Trail Bike and Walking Path to use for their personal fitness. The solid surface asphalt trail is perfect for walking, roller blading and bike riding and the scenery is simply out of this world.
The trail is built over many water ways, creeks and the Kokosing River. The bridges are truly amazing and the views are even more spectacular.
The Kokosing Gap Trail begins in Mount Vernon and passes through historical Gambier and Kenyon College, then through Howard Ohio and onto Danville Ohio. I highly recommend taking your … (3 comments)
