I was passing through The Lakes at Ariel Foundation Park tonight and I could tell it was going to be a spectacular sunset. As the sun began to set around 7:15 p.m. this evening, the glowing clouds and their reflection on the lake became more and more vivid. The Ariel Foundation Park is an amazing place and there is something for everyone to enjoy. Photographers love the park, runners can get their daily exercise, there is great fishing, trail hiking, a museum, the Rastin Observation Tower to climb, picnic shelters to enjoy and plenty of park benches that are located around the park which make a great place to relax.

We visited Atlantis last week and we experienced some truly amazing sunrises and sunsets each day. I took dozens of photos each morning and the sky was spectacular and it was the perfect time of year for capturing beautiful photos.

I took this photo while at Atlantis this week and thought the sky was unique. The sky color was so spectacular right before the sunrise and the sun was casting an amazing and colorful glow onto the clouds. I shot photos for just about an hour and the best shots came about 15 minutes before the sun appeared. What made it even better was that I checked the temperature back in Ohio and it was in the 20's and I was shooting photos at 6:30 a.m. in nearly 70 degree beach weather which put a big smile on my … (7 comments)
