Dear readers, This morning I'm writing to introduce you to a new technology and social media training group that recently opened to the public after providing private consulting services for several years. The New Technology Working Group (NTWG), or NewTechWorkGroup.com, was formed in early 2010 to advance social media and technology training in Bryan and College Station, Texas, home of Texas A&M University. During the last year, I’ve had the opportunity to teach and consult at several market centers and brokerages. In visiting with team leaders and administrators one item kept emerging as a problem. They can’t understand why agents don’t take advantage of excellent technology and systems provided to them, usually free of charge.Technology can be overwhelming to agents.
