lees summit parks: Does This Lee’s Summit Missouri Neighborhood Have Any Walking Trails?

I recently had a client ask me that question while looking at a home. My immediate answer was no, the subdivision doesn’t have any – but Lee’s Summit, Missouri is VERY well connected. In fact, there is a path at the front of the subdivision! In 1988, Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation Department developed a comprehensive city-wide greenway master plan. The objective was to maintain and protect open space while responding to the needs of recreational trail users. This would include bicyclists, hikers, walker, runners and other non-motorized activates. The 38-mile planned loop will encompass Lee’s Summit and the surrounding area. … (1 comments)
