The housing market improvement in the Reno area is one of the strongest in the country, according to "Top 10 Turnaround Towns Report" by Realtor.com.
Reno ranked 10th in the list of strongly improved cities within their housing market.
Realtor.com reported that Reno's strong demand and decline in inventory combined to create double-digit price appreciation for the second quarter of this year.
Reno's median list prices were 26% higher than 2012's second quarter, and inventory was down 29.1%.

Twice this week, I have been informed that the short sale lender wants more money than the short sale contract price. Not just a little more, but more than $10,000!
As real estate agents we price our listings according to the recent market sales and should put in a little extra to keep up with the increasing values during the process.
Apparently, the lenders are taking the market activity and increased values too seriously.
