First, I start with the Recognition that something positive has occurred. Second, I add my Appreciation to recognize that the event is a blessing. Last, I top it off with a full measure of Thanksgiving to show my appreciation.
The most important part is that this dish called Gratitude is shared with as many people as possible.
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, because it reminds us to reflect and be grateful for all the amazing things, events and people in our lives, and it celebrates gratitude with food. What (5 comments)
The paper got their data from our local Multiple Listing Service's monthly real estate data release. Here is what this data actually looks like:
As you can see the number of closed sales this past month in Thurston County have gone up 32.99% as compared to the month of November the previous year. Now look at the last column that shows sales price changes. Oops, there aren't any. That's right, the median sales price has not changed from the previous (1 comments)

How to Sell Your Home for Top Dollar? Invest in small improvements along with home staging. A wise choice on which improvements to invest in will have a clear impact on the final sales price and desirability of your home. The key is knowing which improvement will make the highest impact on price for the smallest amount of cost to the home seller. It's part of my service to my sellers to do a pre-listing walk-through consultation after which my clients receive a detailed list of recommendations. I list them in order of importance and rate of return. My sellers can determine which and how many (2 comments)
Mid-century modern style architecture is most often found in buildings constructed between the mid-1950s through the late 1960s. Its main characteristics are low-pitched and varying roof lines, open floor plans, massive stone or brick fireplaces, cathedral ceilings with exposed wood beams and large windows. Other common features are pony walls (walls that don't extend to the ceiling), clerestory windows (set high in the wall), interior stone planter boxes, sunken living rooms (0 comments)
On February 1, 2010, the Fort Lewis Army installation and McChord Air Force Base will unite to become Joint Base Lewis-McChord. This change is the result of the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) law of 2005, which the Department of Defense utilizes to improve operational readiness, as well as cut costs and create a more effective management infrastructure. BRAC will realign 26 bases with nearby installation and create 12 Joint Bases. The realignment of Fort Lewis and McChord Air Force Base will consolidate several functional areas, such as installation security services, community services, housing, fire protection and others, eliminating redundancies in services and increasing functionality and effectiveness. If you look at last year's real estate absorption rate for Thurston County you can visualize an ascending curve toward and through the summer and then a pretty sudden drop at the end of the year. You might wonder what's so special about a drop in real estate inventory at the end of the year. It's a well known fact that many sellers will either take their unsold listings off the market during the slow season to re-list again in the spring, and many agents will want to hold new listings off until after the holiday season, when very few (2 comments)
You'll probably note the brick facade and the verdigris copper pyramid hip type roof. People from the greater Olympia area will quickly recognize that these structures all resemble the Old Brew House. These buildings are all located in the small city of Tumwater, and if you drive around Tumwater and pay attention, you'll discover many more buildings with the same style. They all pay homage to the original historic Tumwater landmark: The Old Brew House. The Brew Houses is a five-story Italianate building, constructed from Chehalis brick and Tenino sandstone. The Old Brewhouse is the oldest industrial property (2 comments)
