Valley View Retirement community Center for Compassionate Care Presents: The Valley View Air Show August 8, 2009 If you're looking for a fun family outing this weekend, the Valley View Air Show may be where you want to be. The day begins with hot air balloons and ends with the Knox Brothers in concert. There will be a car show, teathered balloon rides, horse & wagon rides, BBQ and tons of music. Today's McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce Biz Blurbs! Sign up for this year's Turkey Trot. It will be held on July 11th with a shot gun start at 8:00A.M. Registration begins at 7A.M. at the Chamber parking lot, located at 417 NW Adams St. in McMinnville. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers as well as random prizes for all participants. CELEBRATION OF LIFE Celebration of Life - Jon Triest A Celebration of Life is planned for our friend and colleague, Jon Triest, this Friday. Jon was a dedicated Chamber of Commerce member and former Board member. His wit and wisdom will be missed. Jon had so many friends and touched so many lives that the McMinnville Chamber of Commerce wants to be sure that people are aware of the celebration of life ceremony being held Friday, June 12th, from 3:00-5:00 PM at the McMinnville Grand Ballroom, 325 NE 3rd St, McMinnville, OR 97128. A note from our President...You've no doubt heard by now that a transportation bill with specific funding in the amount of $192 million for Phase I of the Newberg/Dundee Bypass was forwarded to the House of Representatives last Friday afternoon following a unanimous vote of the Joint Committee on Transportation.
