John Meussner wrote a great post regarding the recent change ActiveRain made regarding points for up to 20 posts per week. Not only did John use a fun word "hullabaloo" he brings up a great point regarding plagiarism in the Rain. If you missed John's post you may read it here.

We had 9 Active Rain members, including yours truly at the Meet-Up on Friday, March 28, 2014. There was one guest in attendance as well. All attendees received an ActiveRain Blog sticker shown below.
The first half hour of so was spent eating lunch and visiting with each other. Karen Crowson brought up the subject of Alzheimers. At long last I get to share the contents of the package Juli Vosmik sent to me which took 21 days to get from Scottsdale, Arizona to San Jose, California.
Inside the box was a lovely Christmas card, beautiful handmade afghan, a matching hat and scarf set, a hat for Dan the Safeway Man, and the now infamous Gingerbread Men in a holiday tin.

If you have not followed the story about the Gingerbread Boys and there unplanned travels around the Nation prior to arriving in San Jose, please read Scottsdale AZ Realtor® Juli Vosmik's post The Traveling Gingerbread Men An ActiveRain Christmas Story.
The package left Scottsdale, Arizona on December 9, 2013. It arrived in Bell Gardens, California on December 10, 2013. It was lost for 10 days before Juli tracked the package sitting in a shorting facility back east.

NAR is right around the corner. In one week I will be picking Joan Cox up from the airport. Joan and I agreed to be roommates during the conference. I hope she does not snore!
