north carolina: Giving to Those Who Have Given So Much

I read an article in today's issue of the Charlotte Observer that I felt compelled to share with everyone that didn't have the opportunity to read it themselves. It was about the N.C. Heroes' Fund and how the goal of this organization is to raise $500K for former or current members of the military who are experiencing hardship due to their generous service. These are hardships of many kinds, but nonetheless hardships. During this time of the year people are always trying to think of ways to help out those that are less fortunate and I cannot think of many better ways … (1 comments)
