There will be a meeting tonight at the Sleepy Hollow Country Club at 5:30 about the NEW PUTNAM ANIMAL RELIEF CENTER. Yes, after over 20 years, we are finally going to get a shelter large enough to meet the needs of Putnam County. Oh, Happy Day! The new shelter will be at the Eleanor side of the Winfield/Eleanor bridge, on land donated by the State of West Virginia. A larger, more modern facility is planned. New features will include a full veterinary clinic, visitors' area and education center. First Lady Gayle Manchin will speak at tonight's fund raising meeting. The campaign … (3 comments)

In December, 2006, Coldwell Banker Advantage Real Estate was proud to contribute to Habitat For Humanity. Habitat for Humanity of Kanawha and Putnam Counties provides decent, affordable housing by working with people in need. Volunteers provide labor and many materials to make the dream of home ownership come true. As REALTORS, we know what an important step it is to own a home! Helping a deserving family to own their own home is a gift in itself. Below you can see pictures of some of our agents providing "sweat equity" to this worthy cause.
