This spring 2014 selling season is actually bringing out buyers. Interviewing people coming through our open house, we found people wanting to take advantage of new found equity in their Orange County home after buying just a year ago. Now that they have equity, they can buy the home they actually wanted in the first place when they bought a year ago, by coming to Eastvale where there are larger homes for less.

A brief synopsis of the Corona market report for January. For the month of January 2011, we saw a total of 172 homes that were sold. The average selling price for a 4+ bedroom house was at $353k. The average selling price for a 3 bedroom house was $275k The average selling price for a 2 bedroom house was $313k. The average time on the market for the month of January 2011 was 87 days. I heard it twice today. Interest rates are on the rise and I am afraid my buyers won't qualify for the property anymore. Realtors are getting busier by the day. We are showing more prospective buyers who are shopping for that special home. Clients within our sphere of influence are actually calling us for appointments. This might be an indication of what we can expect come Spring. However, if you wait for Spring, you miss the chicken.

Came upon this wonderful declutter blog. One of my listing presentation suggestions is that the sellers start packing once they decide to list their house with me. My listings don't stay on the market very long, so you might as well start packing and start planning your move. I have always suggested that they store away valuables, personal treasures and family pictures. Now I will remind them to start with the little things such as magnets.
