January 1st, the start of a New Year. New beginnings, new thoughts, new hopes, and new goals are in the works for many today. There are 365 blank pages in my book waiting to be filled by me.
Many of my friends were probably out late or better yet, early this morning celebrating the arrival of a brand new year. I, on the other hand, couldn't stay up to welcome the new arrival.

2012 has come and gone. The world is still spinning and doing quite well. I am glad to declare that I was right and the Mayans were incorrect. Fiscal cliff is still hanging over the House, but there is hope in the near horizon. I woke up today looking for Southern California sunshine, but all I got was a micro second glimpse of the cold sunrise over the clouds. As another year is coming to a close, I ponder on all the friends and business relationships made this past year. I am especially grateful for all those who have taken the time to mentor and edged me on when times where tough. To those who shared and rejoiced with me during times of accomplishment, there is no other word but THANK YOU for being there. Success and accomplishments are not worth mentioning if friendships are not cherished along the way.
