Hello All,
I am new to Active Rain but I had an experience the other day that prompted me to ask my fellow REALTORS this question...
What is the most unnerving experience that you have had in your real estate career?
Here's mine.  I met a buyer-client at an REO property for a showing.  Now, I've been inside some really funky houses before but what I say yesterday was a first for me.

I'd like to thank you all for your comments and encouragement.  I especially want to thank Michael K. for sharing the link to the marketing to women media kit.  I've downloaded the pdf file and it will definitely help in my research and planning.

I was thinking about niche marketing the other day and wondering what my niche market could be. 
Then it occurred to me that of the 5 buyer-clients I'm currently working with 4 are single women AND 1st time homebuyers. 
I can identify with their situations because I'm a single woman myself.  I know their wants and needs in a home. I can relate to their apprehension in making the biggest commitment and investment in life.  I know that they don't want to make a bad decision and be stuck in a bad situation.  I know their fear of being taken advantage … (8 comments)
