It was obvious the last half of 2012 that the real estate market was improving. If the first two weeks of the new year are any indication, then this year is going to be outstanding. We have had a 50%+ improvement in internet leads and phone calls. Also the number of people wanting to see property has increased significantly.  If only congress doesn’t screw it up, I am very optimistic for the future of real estate.

We decided to spend a few days relaxing and trout fishing in the High Country of North Carolina. We rented a charming log cabin with a view. The drive to the cabin was adventurous to say the least. That should have been a clue. As a Realtor I am attached to my phone. As soon as I parked I pull my phone out to check messages and no signal. I had to drive ten plus miles each day to check my messages and return calls. Needless to say, our vacation was not as restful as we had hoped. I did catch … (2 comments)
