AUSTIN PECAN STREET FESTIVAL May 7-8, 2011 It's been thirty three years and running. The Old Pecan Street Festival is an Austin institution. On May 7th the Pecan Street Festival will take place on world famous 6th Street from 11 am - 10 pm. On Sundays May 8th, the festival will resume from 11am - 8 pm.
What started out as Pecan Street, eventually became the entertainment district we know as 6th Street. Enjoy live music, food, art and woodwork, amongst other household items. Spring 2011 beneficiaries are Livestrong Foundation, the Austin Blues Society, the Knights of Columbus, and Oak Springs Elementary … (3 comments)

It's been 30 years and running. The Old Pecan Street Festival is an Austin institution. On September 25 the Pecan Street Festival will take place on world famous 6th Street from 11 am - 10 pm. On Sundays September 26th, the festival will resume from 11am - 8 pm.
What started out as Pecan Street, eventually became the entertainment district we know as 6th Street. Enjoy live music, food, art and woodwork, amongst other household items. Admission is free.
