Finally I got to go to Newnan's Market Day! For me the square has always been a special place. I still remember that cold Fall Day; It was October 29th of 1986 and my parents and I had came up from Fort Lauderdale Florida to look for houses and immediately fell in love with Newnan. The leaves were still falling, and the pumpkins were out. I guess we liked the square because my Dad's childhood home, and that of my Grandparents out in Rupert Idaho had a town square.
