Here are this weeks market statistics for Defiance city, Ohio 43512.  It appears that the market is starting to move a little as the temperatures are warming up and the snow is beginning to melt.  In fact, I showed two houses this morning to a couple who specifically said they were waiting to see the houses because they wanted to see what the yard and roof looked like without all the snow.

Here are the market condition statistics for the weeks of February 12-26, 2010 for the area of Defiance Ohio defined by the zip code 43512.  Upon a quick glance you will notice that there were four single family residences sold during that two week period, but there are fourteen that are labeled as pending. 
That's a good sign as we are heading toward spring.

The market conditions in Defiance, Ohio have continued to trudge along at a slow pace the first month or so of this year.  This past week there were only two homes sold in the city of Defiance.
The sluggishness of this area, I believe has more to do with the weather than it does with the economy.  Though we've had our share of layoffs and loss of jobs in our market, the weather has been rough.  We have only had a few days this year that have been warm enough for people to actually want to get out and see houses.   … (0 comments)

We had a great time at this year's Halloween parade. Here are a couple of pictures of us and our decorated cart.  We ended up running out of candy and passing out all 500 of our flyers.  We didn't have enough for the whole crowd.  We'll plan differently for next year.  I just want to say thanks for all of you who cheered us on and continue to support us. You can see more pictures on our Facebook page.

Our first whole week in business has been absolutely crazy, but good.  We stayed extremely busy trying to don the "normal" things you would need to do in a real estate company, but had to also do the things that don't happen except when you open one.
 
We finally received 11 yard signs today.  We ordered 20 that were supposed to be here on Tuesday, but it all worked out just fine.  Jeri, our sales rep, has been working real hard trying to get things done for us.  Anyway, we placed our signs in the yards of the three listings … (3 comments)
