When I heard that Chef Chris Nicosia had opened a new restaurant, we were excited. We got to know Chris originally at Desert Mountain and then followed him to Sassi where he was the Executive Chef until it sadly closed.
His new venture is The Craftsman Kitchen & Cocktails and it is located Grayhawk at the corner of Hayden and Thompson Peak. It has a lovely patio with a firepit and the front of the restaurant has retractable doors that gives it an airy feel.

- Scottsdale Restaurants - Carvalho's Brazilian Kitchen -A few months back, Carvalho's Brazilian Kitchen opened up in North Scottsdale, next door to Jalapeno Inferno. I was excited to get over there and have a meal.
Over the course of dinner, I learned that the Brazilian owner and his family had owned a huge fishing camp back in Brazil that people from all over the world came to visit and to try their luck on the Amazon River. The restaurant itself is inspired by the owner's father, who had a great love of food and created many memorable dishes over the years.
