remax: Berkeley Heights NJ Homes for Sale and Homes Sold - April 2007 - 05/07/07 05:19 AM
There are currently 79 single family homes on market for sale in Berkeley Heights NJ. These numbers have risen over the past month, as at the end of March, there were only 57 homes on the market. Although prices have trended lower, Berkeley Heights still remains an appealing option for many buyers, which has enabled homes to sell quickly if they are priced properly. Multiple offers are still a possiblity for competetively priced homes. However, with so many new listings, I expect days on market to rise for homes that are priced too high. There were 12 properties that closed in March … (0 comments)

remax: RE/MAX Convention - Day 4 - Ready to Come Home - 03/07/07 12:42 PM
Well, that just absolutely FLEW by. I just returned from the "Fun Night" concert featuring the Go Go's and Doobie Brothers. I got a chance to dance a bit, meet some new friends, and have a nice buffet meal at the last event of the convention. While I had a wonderful time here, I cannot wait to get home and put some of these principles into practice (after resting up a little). I swear I got less sleep here than at home. I just packed in as many educational sessions and networking opportunities as I could.
After listening to Brian Buffini's … (0 comments)

remax: Changing People's Lives - The Idealistic Realtor from Cranford - 02/19/07 10:04 PM
I've been accused of being the idealist on more than one occasion, especially after closing a sale with great buyers, but if I can't share joy in this job, then why am I doing it?
My most recent closing was with a retired couple relocating back to the area where their family lived, despite the fact that they are leaving behind a 5 year old house and purchasing a home that is worth the same price, but 50 years older. Our market in Northern NJ is considerably more expensive then Southern NJ where they are coming from.
The feeling I got when … (21 comments)

remax: Garwood NJ Real Estate Market Report and Summary - 02/13/07 07:42 AM
For the 12 month period ending January 31, 2007 as compared to the 12 month period ending July 2006, there are some clear signs that the real estate market in Garwood, NJ has continued to correct from record price appreciation, and a polarized seller's market to a moderate buyer's market and flat prices to slight price decline. Since Garwood, NJ is a small community, the numbers are much smaller compared to surrounding town, but the percentages of change seem to be similar.

remax: Keeping a Positive Attitude is Crucial for Me! - 12/01/06 01:48 AM
By now, those of you who have read my posts have seen that I like to comment on the human side of Real Estate just as much as the business side. Last time, I posted about managing emotions in a transaction, and emphasized the importance of keeping my own emotions out of the way, so I can be the objective Realtor and help my clients get what they need.
Today, I will comment on Attitude. More specifically, my desire to focus on keeping a positive attitude as the focus of my business, my client interactions, and also my interactions with other … (7 comments)
