More good news about Las Vegas, that won't get blasted by the national media. I've written about Manhattan West Condominiums before, and now they've just topped off their 9 story signature building, 'Element House'. It's part of the 20 acre $350 million mixed use development that is moving right along. It's located in the southwest side of the Las Vegas Valley, just off the 215 Beltway at Russell Rd. The 4th annual New Media Expo was in town for their convention this past weekend. It's for digital media creators, podcasters and content developers for improving internet presence. The name "Lady Luck" has been an oxymoron in recent years for the Las Vegas hotel casino, but it's not always been that way. Before the latest news, here's a quick history. In my blog from yesterday, on Sinatra's Stamp ceremony at Bellagio Fountains, I talked about Frank's love of "5 O'Clock Vegas Blue"... referencing the colors of the skies here. I also mentioned that he was one of the main characters for making Las Vegas what it is today, and influencing it's growth. Yesterday, I had lunch with Fred Soskin, who is the sales manager at Crescent Ridge Condominiums in Henderson, NV. I was there several months back with a client and the models were still under construction. Fred invited me to lunch so that I could see the finished product and it is beautiful! The clubhouse has a kitchen area, a billiard room, a very large state of the art fitness center and a spacious sitting area. Plasma TV's are throughout the clubhouse.
