It's now past the holidays which means it's the time one looks around and decides what they will aspire to do for the new year. We in Seattle, tend to live in older homes. Ones when they were built, the contractors never dreamed we would still be living in their handi-work created without power tools and sometimes without the internal combustion engine or electricity. Hard to believe, but these homes made from old growth timber are still standing and are in demand for their aesthetic and materials, not the mention our highly desirable neighborhoods.
