Fall  has finally arrived here in Atlanta.  If you have your home for sale, here are a few recommendations for presenting your home to homebuyers.
1.  Do not over do the Halloween factor.  Keep it to a minimum, a few pumpkins is all you need when selling your home.  Thanksgiving items are more acceptable and welcome. 
2.  Remove all the summer plants that have seen a better day.  Yes, some will last till the first frost, however they need to go.  Plant some pansies and other winter greenery.

We all know first impressions are the most important....especially when selling your home.  You want buyers who are excited to be at your home and wanting to see more.  Since the front of your home is the first thing they see, what can you do to make that impression exceptional?
Start with the shrubs...are they pruned and attractive?  Is there fresh mulch or pine straw in the bed?  If anything is dead or dying remove.  Can a prospective owner see the front door from the street and driveway?  Do some shrubs or plantings need to be removed?

Recently we posted a blog showing before and after photos of the area around a fireplace in a townhome we had for sale.  Around that same time, we had a vacant condo that we staged for a client as well and decided we'd put together a virtual tour showing the process.
