Top Image: Slight Rainbow during Monsoon - Sedona July Weather Summary Monsoon July 2019 Sedona weather for July 2019 had below average temps and had some rain at the very end of the month (1.53”). This is less than normal for July. Last July 2018, we had 3.57”. El Niño conditions may still be showing some influence. We have had a total of 30 days over 90º and 13 days over 100º. Interestingly, we had one day under 80º because of the monsoon. Everything really cooled off. Last year at this time we had 31 days over 90º and 12 days over 100º. Our overall (35 comments)

13th Annual National Day of the Cowboy Celebration! Uptown Sedona Then - This was grazing land for the cattle in the Big Park area. It was not until mid 20th Century that the roads into Sedona were paved, bringing more people and tourists to the area. picture above courtesy of the Sedona Heritage Museum Now - Big Park & Village of Oak Creek are the bedroom communities of Sedona with a population of approx. 6336.

Now most of you who think of "Cornfest" would probably think that Nebraska or Iowa might be mentioned. But no, this is the 26 year celebration of Cornfest in the town of Camp Verde ARIZONA! Yes! That is right! Camp Verde has a history of corn farming. Hauser and Hauser sells corn by the ear at their roadside stand. I have had really good sweet corn from outside the city of Chicago in the farmland. This Camp Verde corn is as good as the best in the country. Oh! By the way, (18 comments)
