Most Beautiful Place In America!
Five years ago this month, Sedona was named by ABC's Good Morning America as 'GMA' -"Most Beautuful Place in America". ....and Why Not? I have been an "Ambassador" for this city since 2001, when my husband and I fell in love with the area, the people, the stars, the weather and of course, the crimson red rocks.

Because we are at the end of the Olympics for 2016, the very first person that came into my mind was Mary Lou Retton. To this day, I still remember the perfect score of 10 that she received. No one had ever done that. She was the first woman outside of the eastern block that won the gold medal for all-around performance.
This ushered in the dominance of the American gymnast into Olympic and world competition. Even today, the USA is still the dominant force to be reckoned with at the Olympics.

I am always the first person to say that Sedona is much cooler than Phoenix or the Valley. Well, yesterday, our temps were not far off of record setting temps in Phoenix! I never thought I would ever see a temperature as high as 112 in Sedona. We have spent many vacations on the Colorado River where temps can hover around 120º. So heat is not foreign to us but NEVER in Sedona.
