The Clayton Chamber of Commerce will host its annual State of the City event. Mayor Harold Sanger will discuss current trends and future possibilities for the Clayton community. The Board of Aldermen and city staff will also be on hand. A networking/cocktail reception catered by Ruth’s Chris Steak House will begin at 4 p.m. The Mayor will begin his presentation at 5 p.m. $30 to register by January 17; $35 after that date. Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling the Clayton Chamber of Commerce at 726-3033.

Besides the festivities at The Crescent from 6 to 9 p.m., guests are encouraged to Skate with Frosty from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Shaw Park Ice Rink, and watch the fabulous fireworks display at 8 p.m.
