The latest Long Beach real estate statistics showed a slight decline in home prices last month – a departure from the runaway price increases we’ve been seeing throughout 2013.
The median home price in Long Beach CA dipped from $469,000 in October 2013 to $455,000 last month, according to statistics just released by Pacific West Association of Realtors (PWR).

October brought home price increases throughout Long Beach, including 90806, the Wrigley neighborhood of Long Beach. Citywide, the median sales price in October 2013 was $469,000 -- up $126,000 (or 25%) from October 2012, according to Pacific West Association of Realtors.
In 90806, the median home price last month was $397,000 -- up $87,000 from October 2012 and $39,500 from just last month. Meanwhile the inventory of homes for sale in 90806 remained very low, with just a 1.6 month supply.             The Long Beach real estate market continued its transition in 2009, with foreclosures and short sales continuing to dominate the scene. Low interest rates and an attractive tax credit fueled buyer demand, but inventory remained low.
