The real estate market always needs new blood to sustain itself. Young, first time home buyers hit their peak back in 2005. However, due to the slow economic recovery, limited job prospects and added burden of student debt, Millennials (ages 20 to 34) have mostly shied away from taking on a mortgage of their own. The Little Miss Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant was yesterday, with a special Juneteenth program at the Doris Miller Auditorium afterwards. But you haven't missed everything.
