I just released a new post over at Agent Applause where I praised REALTOR Megan Ruiz for her integration of the Constant Contact Facebook app with her Facebook business page. Here is what visitors see when they first go to her page:

Having been an active Realtor at Surterre Properties in Newport Beach I was familiar with the innovative Best Buys Program that the brokerage initiated several years back. But, it was the gorgeous design of the email that arrived in my inbox (pictured below) that promted me to craft the lastest post on the program over at Agent Applause.
In terms of real estate marketing, Surterre Properties produces some of the best I have ever seen. And, although the design of this campaign is noteworthy, it only enhances a program that at it's core is providing information (aka content) that is … (4 comments)

It seems to me that every modern real estate agent needs to be doing one simple thing - collecting the email addresses of every prospect they interact with. Although you are tech-savvy enough to have found Active Rain and understand the power of blogging, many many end consumers still aren't quite there. And, although Facebook has 400 Million users making it an important marketing vehicle for Realtors to consider, not all clients are on Facebook, and even fewer are on Twitter.
