The Barco-Newton YMCA on Fleming Island is offering teen memberships for $25 a month. The whole family doesn't have to join just to have your teen enjoy the benefits of the Y. Teen membership began in October 2008, according to Associate Executive Director Gregg Zeitz. The YMCA offers classes on learning the exercise equipment for a reasonable fee. The next class starts this month. Call 904-278-9622 to sign up. It's important to learn to use the equipment properly to avoid injury and get the most out of your workout.
