The 46th Annual Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival was held this weekend in Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island Florida. Fernandina Beach is a charming historic town at the very north end of Florida and this Festival is really special. Just ask the vendors. No, ask the Pirates!
From the tree-lined streets flanked by specialty shops, businesses and restaurants leading to the harbor, the quality of fine art and crafts displayed, to the wonderful food, the Shrimp Festival is a great weekend or day trip.
