Oakridge Ranch owners Sharon Bolton and Kimberly Hodge succeeded in eliminating $17.2 MM water fees for 11 separate “Fringe Districts” on May 10, 2011. Following is a quoted paragraph from the official minutes of the Metropolitan Water District Board of Directors Meeting held in Los Angeles, May 10, 2011: "The board adopted a resolution approving modification of method of raising annexation charges for eleven annexations to Metropolitan.
