Four world class pianists combine their extraordinary talent Friday, April 29, at Piano Madness Too, sponsored by the Dallas Jazz Piano Society (DJPS). Dane Haerle, Stefan Karlsson, Fredrick Sanders, and Dave Zoller will be joined by Jeff Echelson on bass and Steve Barnes on Drums.
Piano Madness Too proceeds benefit the Keys for Kids Scholarship Program funded by Dallas Jazz Piano Society. Electronic keyboards are loaned to students and an instructor is provided through DJPS. Children five years through high school are referred by nonprofit organizations and local churches.

Jazz fans are in for a treat Thursday night at the Dallas Jazz Piano Society Concert. World class pianist Dave Zoller and Evidence will perform Zoller's personal arrangements of Thelonious Monk's music.
Early in his life, Zoller was drawn to Monk's music. Zoller formed the band, Evidence, with Monk's music in mind. Aaron Irwinski, saxophonist, is a graduate of UT Arlington graduate. Irwinski played with the UTA Jazz Ensemble. Drummer Woody Berner, studied at University of North Texas where he played with the popular One O'clock Lab Band. Wednesday, April 3, 2013, Mayor Mike Rawlins will proclaim the month of April as Dallas Jazz Appreciation Month (DJAM). I love the acronym! The proclamation will be made at Dallas city Hall in the Flag Room, at 12:00.
Parking is available behind City Hall. Metered parking is also available in front of City Hall and on the East side of the building.
