"til Midnight at the Nasher"  takes place rain or shine.  That's a good thing tonight! Admission is FREE! Activities planned for tonight will be moved indoors to Nasher Hall.
The Nasher Staff has perfectly paired the evening's music, provided by Gollay, with tonight's film, Brooklyn.   Gollay, will play at 7:00 PM in Nasher Hall.  Rachel Gollay's debut album, 'Built for Love,' has been a local favorite since it's release.

Tonight is the night!  Enjoy "Aurora 2015," an over the top open-air art event that will blanket the Dallas Arts District with colorful light. Imagine the ultimate contemporary art display using the Arts District as a back drop.  The interactive event will stretch from Routh Street to St. Paul and Ross Avenue to Woodall Rogers Freeway, including Klyde Warren Park.  Over eighty artists from around the world are participating in "Aurora 2015."

Did you know that every Thursday night the Dallas Museum of Art sponsors Jazz in the DMA's Atrium?  This is a FREE event for all to enjoy and  unwind  after a busy day. 
Guests are in for a treat tonight.  Dave Zoller and Company will be celebrating John Coltrane's birthday with music.  From 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM the sound of Jazz will greet guests as they enter the DMA through the north entrance and head into the Atrium.  Food and Drinks are available for purchase in the Atrium Cafe.

The Dallas Museum of Art sponsors art camps for children from age four to age twelve and teens from age thirteen to age nineteen.  Each class is designed for a specific age level and taught daily for one week.  Camps are offered in June, July, and August.  Take a look at the DMA's  easy to read Summer Art Camps Schedule for the details of each session.

Saturday is predicted to be 55° and sunny!  What a perfect day to enjoy the Nasher Sculpture Center's First Saturday activities with your entire family.  Sponsored by Target, this is a Free event.  The Nasher is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and activities are scheduled from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  This event is designed for children from preschool age to elementary school.

It's the third Friday of the month and that means it's Late Night at the Dallas Museum of Art.  The DMA will be filled with music and activities for all to enjoy. 
The Dallas Museum of Art will feature The 'Cliffe Notes during Happy Hour in the Atrium on the North side of the building. Music from jazz to pop will be performed by this a capella group.

Tonight is is the Dallas Arts District Spring Block Party.  The entire family is invited to enjoy activities sponsored by the Dallas Museum of Art, Nasher Sculpture Center and The Crow Collection of Asian Art.  Flora Street and Harwood Street will be alive with music and entertainment beginning at 6:00 PM.

Tonight was the first Late Night of 2014 at the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA).  Art tours, discussions and demonstrations, music, food, drink made it a fun evening for visitors of all ages.
Diana Dill Savage took us back in time with nostalgic music from the 1940s.   Brave Combo followed Savage's performance. The third performance of the evening was Two Knights, Parker Lawson and Miles DeBruin. All performances took place in the Atrium where food and drinks were available for purchase in the DMA Cafe. This is the perfect location to meet friends.

Friday is Late Night at the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA).   This week the DMA has planned activities to complement the Edward Hopper exhibit, "Hopper Drawing: A Painter's Process,"  opening Sunday. Visitors will have the opportunity to get a sneak peek at the exhibit on Friday night.  The Whitney Museum of American Art Curator, Carter E. Foster, will discuss the exhibit, at 7:00 PM in the Horchow Auditorium.  The is a unique opportunity, as the exhibition was organized by the Whitney.  In addition, Dr. Gail Levin, art historian and author, will discuss her book, "Edward Hopper: An Intimate Biography," at 9:00 PM.
