This weekend, Frontiers of Flight Museum, remembers an important day in world history: the 70th Anniversary of the end of World War II. Spirit of '45 Weekend will celebrate the anniversary with activities for the entire family. Saturday events begin at 10:00 AM and continue throughout the day. Food Trucks will be on hand for cold drinks, and delicious food. Frontiers of Flight Museum encourages guests to bring photos of their WWII heroes. Collings Foundation's Wings of Freedom Tour will fly into Dallas March 19, 2014. Hosted by the Frontiers of Flight Museum on Lemmon Avenue, the exhibit will pay tribute to Veterans of World War II. Exhibits will be interactive and visitors are invited to board some of the aircraft and take flight. The latter comes with a price, as you can imagine.
