The Newport Boat Show has begun, and this is a great weekend to come and view all the beautiful yachts that are now docked in Newport Harbor. The boat show is at Lido Marina in Newport Beach, and each year, docks are brought in to accommodate all the yachts that are on display and for sale.

Los Angeles Angels versus Texas Rangers
Last night was the Angels opening day at Angel Stadium in Anaheim. We went for dinner at the Stadium and enjoyed a spectacular view of the field.
The pre-game ceremony was amazing. Kenny G played the national anthem on his sax to the fans and players.
Then, there was a long line of people that entered the field.
Then they rolled out the American Flag which was incredible and to a standing ovation.

Matt Oka is a 21 year old Newport Beach who suffered a spinal cord injury last July. The swim-a-thon is being conducted to raise money for his health care.

Patrick is a five year old Irish Setter who still acts like a puppy. Patrick will put his face on my desk while I am writing, and occasionally will even try and stand up on my desk to get my attention, or he lays on the floor and STARES while I am writing.
