pets at showings: Unless Your Dog Is Very Convincing Disguised As A Lamp, He Shouldn't Be At The Showing

Selling a house when you have pets is no easy task. Much like children, pets make the chore of maintaining a "show ready" appearance all the more challenging. Once you have your house prepared and ready to show, it's important that your pets don't distract from the postive features you have worked so hard to present to potential buyers. Whenever possible pets shouldn't be left in your home during showings. Unless your dog is very convincing disguised as a lamp... it's best if he's not present. It's not fair to potential buyers who may have allergies or a fear and/or dislike of dogs. It's not fair (37 comments)
