Every time we disparage the state of the economy and talk about the terrible state of real estate, we create a self fulfilling prophesy. It is my view that if we are positive, then positive things will happen. There are great opportunities in the market and it is time to stress the positive, and put a bow on it.

It is warm and sunny and I am in the city that is always beautiful. I saw my friend last night and she is working today so I just strolled and shopped. As inexpensive as it was in South Africa and Swaziland, Paris more than makes up for it. The cost of living in Paris is one of the most expensive...

It is said that bacteria is toxic and can and does cause real harm to us physically and even emotionally. With that in mind we tend to avoid situations and people who are sick, because we want to stay well and not be impacted by anything that could bring us down. Work is a bacteria field too. It ...

I am a lucky person and I know it. It took me many years to realize that but now that I've got it, I am feeling good about it and my good fortune. I just spent twelve days in South Africa and Swaziland. How amazing it that? This was a bucket list trip and I loved every minute of it. Now I have ar...

I remember being told this a very time ago and it is true. "One deal does not a career make." Business like life, if we are lucky, is a long run, a marathon if you will and not a quick sprint. I know people and I suspect you do too, that are in it for the fast score, a hurried buck or let's get t...

Today is my last day in South Africa. I have experienced a multitude of experiences and emotions and I am so glad I came. Earlier I went to see Mandala's home (now a museum), the site and museum that commemorates the beginning of the end of apartheid, and finally the Apartheid Museum. It was diff...

There is a magic place in South Africa and I call it Kruger National Park. It is five times the size of the first place I visited and that was the size of New Jersey. We safaried in the morning and some of us went again in the afternnon. The amount of driving was like coming and going from my old...

Swaziland is a small country next to South Africa and Mozambique. HIV is rampant and the people are really, really poor. This morning we visited a small school that is one that the travel group I am with, helps support. This was one savvy operation but the children were very charming. We saw most...

I really like to eat and lately I have found a terrific Pizza place in my new area. Boba Louies is in Great Barrington Massachusetts and also in Pittsfield Massachusetts. They feature pizza but the menu is diverse and wonderful. For me the best part of the pie, and there are many, is the crust, I...

Some of my friends are not content with good and have to have or be great. Sometimes in the midst of a transaction these folks have the need to let everyone know of the heroic things they have done to keep the deal on track and so they tell all only to create more trouble than they could have eve...

What a magical Day. My first game drive was to Hluhluwe, the oldest Reserve in South Africa and about the size of the state of New Jersey.. They are home to the big five plus. It rained like the Ark was being made ready, but after the first hour it stopped. Rain and cold are not great weather for...
