Every time we disparage the state of the economy and talk about the terrible state of real estate, we create a self fulfilling prophesy. It is my view that if we are positive, then positive things will happen. There are great opportunities in the market and it is time to stress the positive, and put a bow on it.

My three enjoy the days and the mornings are special because we walk and they really seem to enjoy it. In my former home, we walked a lot. Here in the country, with a large fenced property and an injury I have been nursing since the beginning, our walks haven't been a reality until a couple of we...

It used to be easy and was predictable. Every-time I read the same story, it ended as it had the time before. As a child I read the same book over and over again and was comforted by knowing how it would come out. Today I sometimes still read the same books and enjoy them. Of course there are alw...

It was different this morning being in the Rain but I think it is actually all good. The larger pictures are a bit scary but I'll get used to it I'm sure. I thought that our pictures would be bigger on our home page but I was wrong. It is wonderful however to have the Following Button back though...

In my life it is clear that thinking is a significant factor in determining how I roll. On any given day I wake, I do my routine, and then I plan the day. Often I think about what I will do and why. That said the most important thing for me is to think through my plans so that there is a greater ...

Just returned from an afternoon at Tanglewood. It was a fabulous, and I don't use the word lightly, performance of Rachmaninoff's' Piano Concerto No.2 with Gabriela Montero as the featured artist, and Verdi's Scene Two from Aida with a full chorus and a number of soloists I was unfamiliar with. T...

My new search is for a special bulb for an exterior motion sensitive fixture that I have set for on wh...

I'm having a really good day. I went out early with my pups for our daily walk and then had a couple of hours at a local flea market at the Historical Society of a nearby town. Now home, I am getting ready for lunch and thinking about where to put the things I bought. Most days are good, but toda...

I am a flea market junkie and tomorrow there is a great one in Great Barrington, Massachusetts at the historical center on Main Street. It is a benefit for the historical society and there will be twenty two vendors there. I am ready to go. I have small bills, a check book and a car that is ready...

A couple of days ago I wrote a blog about the Exotic Animals I saw in the Berkshires. It made me very sad to observe these animals tied with five or six foot ropes or chains in essentially an abandoned lot surrounded by barbed wire with nothing to graze on but dead weeds and no water visible. Aft...

I enjoy my cell phone. I love my MacBook Air, and my car is a pleasure to drive. Some things make life easier and then some things simply interfere with what makes the day to day special. I miss the days of easy and uncomplicated. I remember calling people instead of using email, writing letters ...
