Every time we disparage the state of the economy and talk about the terrible state of real estate, we create a self fulfilling prophesy. It is my view that if we are positive, then positive things will happen. There are great opportunities in the market and it is time to stress the positive, and put a bow on it.

Nothing is easy for me when it comes to technology. I hesitate to upgrade because it involves so much and I am over wanting to learn new things technical now. Yesterday I had my newer iPhone 6S activated. The local place wasn't interested in doing it so I had to drive 70 miles to Hudson new York....

I have been going back and forth with AT&T for months. I was able to get my bill cut in half but after being their customer for 40 years and being dealt with poorly for months I wanted more. After a lot of grief and a little help from Tammy Lankford, I was able to get to someone in the Presidents...

It is bitter today and tonight the snow will start. This first snow shouldn't be significant: just a few inches. Then the heavy storm comes on Saturday and Sunday. With falling temperatures in the single digits and big time winds gusting to 50 or 60 mph it will be difficult for my gang and the cr...

I have been without a lawn guy for several months now. The guy I had, just fell off the face of the earth and didn't return calls. I did two more large bags of leaves this morning which is all I will do this year. I was concerned about the potential for a major snow event this weekend so I called...

I don't fly south for the winter. I try and spend my time in and around Sheila's house because there is food and ample areas to hide. Many of us spend the evenings under her deck. She has grates but we can fly through or hop our way in. When the sun is out we generally look for dinner. Some days ...

Lately, for whatever reason, I have been thinking a lot about things I experienced in my childhood. I grew up in Philadelphia and lived in a suburban neighborhood of row homes. My elementary school was within walking distance which was good because there were no school buses. Everyday I walked to...

Yesterday was another bitter cold day. It was hard to be outside long without having to grab your breath. Last night was an evening of contrasting and yet equally stunning skies. Here are two views of the same area that I was able to shot. I loved the blue and orange in the first one and the viol...

I live in the northeast and it had been frigid for the last several days. Before that there was alternating snow and heavy rains and my car is really filthy. I have been trying to get it washed for almost a week and I haven't been able to find a place that was open. I stopped at my car place and ...

It isn't always about the amount of business you have, it is really, in my view, about the quality of that business. I remember knowing colleagues who had dozens of listings but none ever sold. I somehow knew even in the beginning of my career, that the only thing that really mattered was the num...

Sometimes the sky makes me think that anything is possible. There are no limits in the breath and variety of skies observed around the world and even in my little back yard. It has been really bitter cold here and yet the sky was warm and welcoming last night. Have a great day.
