  Residential real estate has become more and more complex over the years as a result of laws enacted to protect consumers and agents. There are at least 23 federal laws that play a part in residential real estate. Although this list is  not exhaustive, it provides an idea of how much of the real estate transaction falls under federal regulation. I bet you can think of a few more to add...     Prospecting 1.
