A fantastic article was just published in the local paper about the great work that Jeanne Walker has been doing the last couple of years as the principal of Tapp Middle School in Powder Springs. Here is a link to the article. Those of us who live and work in the West Cobb area know that the schools have often gotten a bad reputation. Cobb County in general is known for Nationally ranked high schools, high standards, and high parent involvement. Not so much for the western side of the county. But all that is changing! In my opinion, Country Walk is hands down the best neighborhood in Powder Springs. I can say that, because I live here! Built in the early 90’s, the neighborhood has beautiful, mature landscaping and trees. Neighbors take care of their homes and properties, and the homeowners association is top notch. The neighbors that take the time to serve on the board are thoughtful and fair, and work hard to maintain property values for everyone. With over 400 homes in the neighborhood, that’s no small feat!
